EHFF was invited to participate in a panel discussion on Thursday 3rd October at the Congress Centre of the charming town of Angers Loire. The conference that day concentrated on professionals discussing the impact on senior citizens’ lives of the developments of AI, big data, robotics and the ethics of such innovations.
David Somekh for EHFF participated in a panel entitled ‘prediction or prevention – the reign of data’ moderated by John Farrell, an old friend of EHFF, previously at the Department of Health, Northern Ireland and Jawad Hajjam, Director of Development for CENTICH a company focused on support systems for the elderly in their homes. There were presentations from Prof Andres from Strasbourg University hospital on developments in diabetes remote monitoring, Dominique Letourneau, executive chairman of the Foundation for the Future, which supports clinical research, speaking about prediction and Dr Nicolas Leblanc, a public health specialist with VYV a large French Mutual Insurance company.
