Following the ratification of the EHFF 2015 Work Plan and the period of deliberation by the Gatwick Follow-up Work group, we are about to send a document to all members of the core community. This has two main aims; to invite you to indicate which of the proposed special interest groups most closely fits with your personal expertise or passion, or alternatively to suggest a different topic which you would like to share and develop ideas about with other Community members. Secondly, to introduce you to the idea of complementing the website, as a repository of activity and news, with an initially closed space (while we play in it and experiment with its potential) that will create an interactive platform for the core group, but may then be opened out to anyone.
Using the free vehicle ‘slack.com’ we can explore working together in a very flexible way (you can be an active blogger, use the space as a chat room, send jottings or scanning observations as ‘sound-bites’ or have interactive work groups; you can just drop in and sample what’s going on without feeling obliged to do anything. Let’s experiment!
