A fascinating one-day symposium, with high quality speakers and presentations which presented a number of examples of current aspirational projects in the digital health field. The programme is here.
Just three examples of future vision for the implementation of digital technology and the changes in practice it would introduce (if successful!). First presentation, Liz Mear, CEO of the NHS Innovation Agency on the Connected Cities project. Next Diane Baynham, NHS Head of service design (urgent and emergency care) on personalised care (digital by desire) and finally David Alexander of Mydex (a community interest company) on balancing the health and social care ecosystem (and featuring some of the work of George Crookes’ group at the Scottish Digital Health and Care Institute).
