Final meeting of the Chrodis-JA (joint action on chronic diseases) WP7 (diabetes as a case study): Rome, National Institute of Health. October 20-21th 2016
EHFF has been a collaborating partner of this Joint Action since 2013 and has been active in WP5, 6 and 7. The concluding Conference of the Joint Action will be in Brussels Feb.27/8. Of further interest, given EHFF’s involvement in the PROSTEP project is the announcement that a second Joint Action on Chronic Disease, Chrodis Plus, will follow, details to be advised in due course.

Marina Maggini and Jelka Zalatel, work package co-leaders, presented on the activities and achievements of WP7. This was followed by a summary paper on prevention and management by Anne Pierson of EuroHealthNet.
On the second day, the highlights were a paper by Maggini and Zalatel on Recommendations to improve prevention and quality of care for people with Diabetes and finally another paper from Anne Pierson on dissemination of results.
