Estonian Presidency eHealth conference 16-18 October provides full launch of Digital Health Society initiative
(apologies again for the two month delay in posting this report!!)
Following the announcement at the eHealth meeting in Malta (reported by us May 19) EHFF had been one of a large handful of organisations that where already signed up to the Digital Health Society concept but in Tallinn, the Declaration was widely circulated (see text here). The full agenda for the Conference is here.
There were many worthwhile presentations at the meeting (apart from the panel that EHFF contributed to!). Currently they are mostly available on the Estonia website, the link is: http://www.ehealthtallinn2017.ee/ehome/252892/speaker-presentations/
For the purposes of a short review, we would pick out four, namely the Catalan presentation on mHealth, the Finnish on flow of health data, the Netherlands project on digital training of medical staff, and Richard Corbridge’s summary of the activity of Task Force 4. Finally two brief presentations from our panel on patient empowerment, that of EPF and from EHFF. The journey continues! We aim to join the activities of task Force 4 and will update in the New Year.
