Two new logos have appeared on our Partners section of the ‘who we are’ field on our website!
Firstly: All Policies for a Healthy Europe (AP4HE) is a consortium of organisations supported by Johnson and Johnson and Microsoft, out of their Brussels office, with a Mission to ensure that health remains a priority in European Commission policies. There was a real anxiety in the last couple of years that health was being significantly demoted in terms of priority and funding. This may change with the new administration; we don’t yet know for sure. A dozen NGOs are associated with AP4HE (see their website: https://healthyeurope.eu/ ) a number of them very familiar to us! At a meeting in Brussels during November we agreed that EHFF and AP4HE would sign a memorandum of understanding and we are now officially a Knowledge Partner and look forward to working with the group in the New Year.
Secondly, at the Metaphorum conference in the Netherlands, we met with Gary Alexander of plaNET and agreed on a partnership relationship which could facilitate an ongoing workgroup between Metaphorum and EHFF, something we had as a target when attending the Conference. Gary’s platform planetmakers (https://planetmakers.planet.coop/) is an online platform or forum designed to support the development of sustainable communities. Author of eGaia, Gary has a vision of connected sustainable communities transforming society and respecting the planet.
