EHFF present at 4th Conference of Partners of the EIP-AHA

Reported by Agnieszka Daval-Cichon: EHFF was represented at the 4th Conference of Partners of the EIP-AHA held in Brussels on 9-10 December 2015. The main topic was « Accelerating market uptake of innovation for active and healthy aging across Europe » and it was concluded that the work should continue in the same work streams but with slightly modified methodology. Following a proposal from Cecilia Vera of Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, EHFF, Nick Guldemond of UMC Utrecht and Francesca Avolio of Agenzia Regionale Sanitaria della Puglia, patient empowerment was chosen as one of horizontal topics – for the so called ‘synergies task force’ – which should be included in all work streams.
