On 23 June 2015 a one day event in Brussels marked the end of a three year multi-centre FP7 project on empowering patients through eHealth.
A number of different approaches were featured, but a principal competent involved connecting patients with their electronic health record.
EHFF was invited to open the meeting with a keynote related to our involvement in the Empathie project and the ongoing Empathie Network. David Somekhs’ presentation can be accessed here, and the whole meeting can be accessed via the following link here, which describes the overall project briefly but also allows download of all 17 presentations during the day. The day ended with a panel session which included our representative, the project leaders and the Commission project officer, Terje Peetso from DG-Connect.
