Almost exactly four years ago, in February 2016, with funding from the Robert Bosch Foundation, EHFF convened a group of 32 International stake-holders, from Industry, civil society, academia, the policy world and health professionals, to spend two half days discussing the issues surrounding the apparent lack of end-user engagement inn the development of new eHealth tools

Why this is news, we believe, is that there seems little evidence that the issues raised by this expert group, which included citizens with chronic illnesses (expert patients), with a high degree of consensus, are being tackled even now to any significant degree, even though there is a strong argument in terms of utility of investment and effectiveness of product, that this should happen.
