What is it about?
Healthcare and education are two core pillars of democracy.

If people do not trust the functioning of their health and education systems, they risk losing trust in the state and its representatives as well.

Yet, it is a challenge to keep healthcare and education systems efficient and innovative in a way that they keep addressing the needs of society whilst the societal, geopolitical and technological environment is continuously changing.

What do we want to do?
The European Health Futures Forum, the Nordic Wellbeing Academy and the Healthcare Futurists invite you to a network meeting and ‘Prequel Workshop’.

We will bring interdisciplinary academic experts and young professionals together to identify core challenges that need to be mastered to strengthen trust and empowerment in healthcare and education, and thus would strengthen trust in our democracies.

The results will lead into a hackathon later in 2026, where health and education professionals, tech innovators, designers, and policy thinkers will co-create digital or tech-driven solutions that will make healthcare and education more accessible, inclusive, and effective for all.
