The EHFF Board and group of Advisors met together in London on November 30th to decide on a response to the decision by David Somekh to gradually step back from his position as Network Director, given that March 2025 will mark 12 years since EHFF became a formal entity.
David recognises that a period of time is needed to get new working arrangements in place and functioning effectively and after further discussion by the Board last week, it has been agreed by all concerned to put in place, in the New Year, a management group of 6 individuals, each representing one facet of EHFF’s current work, who will report to the Board but collaborate with them on strategic planning and consolidation of EHFF’s position.
A key element of these interim arrangements is a collaboration agreement with the Nordic Wellbeing Academy led by Lars Münter (already a long-standing member of the EHFF Advisory group) and by his colleague Nina Sønderberg. Read more about them here (www.wellbeingacademy.dk). With their extensive experience in health education and communication, they aim to bring fresh perspectives and ideas and to actively engage and enlarge our current community through innovative and mutually beneficial alliances.
